Does Being In Front Of The Camera Make You Anxious?

Does being in front of the camera make you anxious? I hear it all the time, "I'm not photogenic", " you've got your work cut out for you on me", and "I hate having my picture taken". Let's face it, being in front of the camera and having your picture taken can be stressful and nerve-wracking. I’ve coached with some of the best photographers around the world to make sure that my technical game is on point. This allows me to focus on coaching my clients.

I sympathize with you for not liking the process of having your photos taken. I didn't enjoy having my picture taken, I still don't "enjoy" it, but, I've learned a few things along the way to make it easier.

Something I know a lot of my clients is nervous about is “getting it right” or “Knowing how to pose”. But, why would you know how to pose, or know how to get it right in front of the camera? You’ve most likely not spent a lot of time learning to become a model.

It’s my job to get it right and to know how to pose you. It’s my job to know how to find flattering light. I’ve been coached by some great photographers to learn these skills.

To help take the stress off you I coach you through the entire session. We review images throughout to make any corrections we need, I can coach you on whatever we need, and, YOU CAN SEE HOW KILLER YOU LOOK!

I like to do this through interaction. I hate stuffy sessions where some photographer is telling you, "Okay, smile, 1-2-3". That always leads to boring expressionless images. I much prefer to interact and get you to emote and express in certain ways by eliciting a reaction, usually to something ridiculous that I've said.

Everyone can be photogenic, YES, even you. When you're ready to level up your online presence, print, or digital marketing, give me a call a’s get you rocking some killer new headshots. Remember, you can relax, have fun and trust that I have your back during the session.
