With today’s workforce moving more and more to online resources it's more important than ever that your corporate headshots look high-end and professional. Allyson reached out for headshots to level up her professional profiles and her zoom appearance. It's not uncommon to have your video stopped on Zoom calls and have your headshot in its place before the meeting starts. This might be the first time co-workers, potential employers or clients might be seeing you. Allyson sees the importance of making sure that this first impression is the best. Corporate headshots should be clean, professional and show off your personality.

With more and more people connecting and working through online profiles like LinkedIn and Facebook it’s a must to have a professional headshot on your profile. I hear from a lot of decision-makers that I shoot that they often won’t click on profiles that don’t have an image and are more likely to click on the professional headshot versus the selfie. Having a selfie on your professional sites, networking platforms, and social media to me shows that you’re willing to take shortcuts, and your potential clients or employers could very well be thinking the same thing. A professional headshot is a small investment in yourself and your brand and it shows that you think you’re an expert in your field and you want to look like it.

When I met Allyson she mentioned that I photographed her sister and her dad. They're part of a real estate team called the Evans group. Now we have a family all sporting killer headshots on their LinkedIn profiles, social media, and websites. Allyson was kick to have in-studio, even though we were shooting professional corporate and branding headshots we had a ton of fun, she's full of energy and has a great sense of humor.
